Our Story
Keen Construction was founded by Pedro Hernandez and Reece Rubio in July of 2024. With the goal of bringing high quality roofing and customer service to Western Carolina.
They built their fundation and moved up the ranks by providing subcontracting services to a number of reputable roofing companies in Asheville NC. They spent most of the companies early months helping locals through Hurricane Helene in anyway possible; clearing trees off of houses, tarping, and providing emotional support through a tragic time.
Today, Keen Construction is a full fledged Resedintal Roofing Contractor in control of your entire project from start to finish. With the promise of treating every roof as if it were their own, and treating every client as a friend instead of a customer.

Pedro
Owner/Superintendent
Pedro has been providing high-quality roof installations throughout asheville since 2020. There is a good chance that if you or a nieghboor had a roof installed near Asheville NC he was apart of it in some way. From shingles to metal his knowledge and connections is unmatched.
No stranger to hard work. He has personally installed over 600 roofs throughout his career.

Reece
Owner/CEO
Originally from Beaumont Tx, Reece went to Brevard College to prusue his dreams of playing college football and living in the mountains of North Carolina. He graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Business and Orginazational Leadership.
With already having a background in general construction and manufacturing. He went on to become the Project Manager of a local roofing company. Which is where his roofing journey started and where he met Pedro.
Reece has managed and helped install over 300 roofs. His passion is working with people and provding a service that is unmatched. He can always be quoted saying, “If my name is going to be attached to it. Then it is going to be done the right way.”
